Hello Lilly, thanks for the interest. Unfortunately, we only have booster chairs. Let us know if you would like a reservation so we can put you in a booth since it's safer with the booster.
Great food and very kind staff. We enjoyed everything we got. The fried octopus balls and the grilled squid were top notch. The cocktails were unique and refreshing.
Woooooo, when we got there on Fri night, it was packed at the front. We did an online reservations, so we went to the back section. It was great. For the food, overall is good. I ordered a wrong thing though, I wanted a grill squid, but I ordered a deep fried calamari bit. The calamari is soft, not overly cooked. The house prawns tempera is very filling. The food portion of appetizer is average, the fried udon is one pack of udon with fried veggies/ mushrooms, garlicky. The back is a little bit "cozy", your back can touch the ppl at the table behind you.
Love the ambiance, great fusion food and good service. Will definitely come back for more.
I loved it! I took the Teryaki ramen with a spicy bouillon. We tried the Hamachi Sashimi & the Kamo. Especially loved the tender smoked duck filet & the sauce !! Great service from the staff! Really like their waitlist concept (they call you when a table is ready for you). Definitely recommend!
Excellent!! Visiting from Toronto and it came highly recommended and didn't disappoint. The Ramen soup was incredible, spice was perfect, think noodle, pork broth and chicken was awesome. We had the pork rice side as well as the friend chicken and it was delicious.Lastly the calamari was perfectly breaded paired perfectly with a mayo based dipping sauce.Well done guys!
Amazing restaurant. Food’s good, ambiance’s nice, service is great. Definitely a place to go.
It's a really good restaurant.
Loved the place, food is amazing, the staff are superb, I’ll definitely go back again! If you haven’t tried it yet.. you should right now!
Worst Ramen I have ever tasted!! It smelled so bad.Green tea ice cream was good.
It was a late Sunday night and we were able to get sits at the bar. The food came promptly. Maybe a bit expensive for tapas but they were quite flavorful.
Fun night out with tasty food. The service gets a bit confused at times but is definitely one of the better izakaya option going on. No sake bomb yelling going on in this place; how amazing!
Really cool place for a bar + ramen! I had one of the best ramen in town there and they make your customize drinks! The restaurant is pretty popular gets packed very fast and the noise level is pretty high but i totally didn't mind since i was grabbing drinks with friend.
Food was delicious, notably the desert was a great way to end the meal. Incredibly friendly and courteous staff: I would highly recommend!
Food has yet to disappoint! Wait staff were friendly & bilingual. Decor & atmosphere is stylish & lively. Potential challenges: can be a bit noisy with all the hard surfaces & popularity. Majority of seating is hard wooden stools with little to no back support — noticed a couple corner tables with padded benches available. There is a coat rack available — unfortunately we did not see until on the way out: Purse hooks beneath tables would be useful!Recommend making a reservation or arriving early, even early week.
One of the best ramen I've had. The tonkotsu broth is so tasty. Simple menu. Big bowl of ramen. Down side is that the place and tables are tiny, and there is usually a long wait before getting a table. Would go there again
Delicious Japanese tapas food, well presented and cooked to perfection ! Atmosphere/setting is nice and cozy, and top service by professional staff.
Such delicious food and wonderful service! One of the best Japanese places in Montreal. Sue was our waitress, she is very sweet, caring, knows the menu well and we had a wonderful evening. 5/5 stars honestly
Absolutely amazing food. Authentic Japanese (high-end) Izakaya experience. I missed classic Japanese cocktails like lemon sour or yuzu highball, but they ended up making them for us (after we explained how to 😅). That was lovely. It is a little bit on the pricier side for Montreal, so watch for that.
Their food is delicious. They suggest clients to take 2 to 3 meals /person and it's worth it. You definitely want to try everything once you get there ! I love the place also, and I'll come back soon. 5 stars!!
Great little izakaya if you want good ramen and small japanese tapas! The matcha tiramisu is to die for! Definitely would recommend this to a friend and the wait time isn’t as long as yokato because it’s a bigger space. Also you can have drinks here, perfect for a date night.
Great japanese place that has a lot of different type of meals. They also have a ramen place adjacent which is fantastic. You can actually order the ramens from the izakaya too. We loved everything. Friendly staff. Recommended.
Food was absolutely delicious. I went for my birthday with my family and couldn't have asked for more. We asked for some improvised mocktails which they gladly brought to us. All the food was perfect, came very quick and always left us wanting more. We ate so much because it was all so delicious. The atmosphere was great and the waitors were super nice. Can't wait to go back!
Love the ambiance, great fusion food and good service. Will definitely come back for more.
The food here was mediocre at best. We ordered the seared tuna, squid, using noodles and tempura shrimp. They delivered the tuna first which seemed to have been boiled rather than seared. Completely flavorless and with a strange texture. The tempura was ok, but only because of the spicy mayo sauce. Without it, it would have been sub-par. I enjoyed the squid, although it was very overcooked. Nothing special about the udon noodles; something you can make at home. Lastly, not sure why, but you don't get the ramen menu when you book. This seemed like a scam/trap and it most definitely is as you're sitting right next to people who are getting ramen.
Definitely our favorite ramen restaurant in Montreal. Nice and rich broth filled with yumminess of your choice. Highly recommend!
This is a must place if you like noodle soups.I recommend that you get here early, and that you are ready to wait.I suggest once you get on the waiting list you stay for a drink or look for something to do on St. Denis street. It is worth it!One experience I like to share about this place is when I was dinning here with two other friends. We were finishing our soups and suddenly a waiter asked us if we had any inconvenience in moving to a smaller table. He explained his demand so he could sit 6 people where we were at that moment. We did not hesitate. Not two minutes went by and the waiter offered us something on the house for the trouble. These gestures make you feel like home. The other part is you can customize your Noodles. I will always recommend a place where the food stays personal, the sake is good, and when its more about the experience than just eating.
We had an amazing experience at Ichigo Ichie yesterday for my boyfriend's birthday. The food was out of this world and the cocktails were just divine. What really stood out for me (as a waitress) is the service. Our waitress Alice as long as the other staff members made this night a memorable one by recommending to us the best dishies (the cod !!!) and making sure everything was perfect from A to Z and just being overall extremely friendly and professional. We've discovered new flavors at every courses. I highly recommend this restaurant and we will go back very soon!! Maude and Nick

Fun and warm atmosphere, All the dishes are creative and very delicious! Unfortunately the standards are sliding the longer it's open - they could remove the ikea price tags from their serving dishes. A little on the pricey side, but worth every penny. EDIT: the food and service is taking a nose dive since my first visit.
Our company had rented the floor here. The food was awesome everything was very delicious! What elevated all that was the immaculate service their staff had provided to us! Thank you again!
Ichigo Ichie Izakaya has some great Japanese food. Tried their grilled squid at a street food festival, cooked fresh right in front of you. It was some of the best squid I ever tasted. Highly recommended for anybody who likes squid.
Amazing izakaya. Not to be missed if you're visiting montreal. Everything is so delicious, plating is beautiful and the atmosphere is great as well
Friendly staff, and food was good. Will come back for the ramen 🍜
Super service ! The waiter was really sweet. The noodle are amazing. I really like this place and I understand why Montreal blog say it's the best noddles in town.

I’ve been to a lot of Izakaya’s in Montreal, and Ichigo gave me a first great impression. Although the location was a bit harder to find, the building is quite unique. The menu isn’t like any other as there are certain dishes that I have yet to see in Montreal. Their sashimi was just right. Their smoked duck was fantastic 😍😍😍. I would definitely recommend everyone to come here.
Reservations are a must, but if you want a place to hang out, eat Japanese pub food, this is the place to be. It's not as loud as a imadake so it's a good hang out place. The food is fresh and tasty. And I like the taste of the cocktails. We had the Akuma and mango manjinbuu. :). Just a fun place to unwind, talk, eat and drink.

It was very loud, you can barely hear your date and I think the waitress came to check on us far too many times. It almost felt like we were being rushed out. The food is great though.
Super fun atmosphere and the most delicious donuts ive ever had!

I’m that kind of person who will pay extra just have all those additional garnish.I told myself if I wasn’t going to run 10km 4-5 times a week, then I should at least eat properly: Plant-based and simple whole food. But once in a blue moon, my body will request extra fatty pork belly. 😂
